I want to thank everyone who participated in our Fall Celebration.  The children enjoyed this and can’t wait until our Winter Celebration!

Well, it’s hard to believe we are half way through the second marking period!  The time has come for interims to be sent home again.  Please look for an interim report in your child’s book bag between December 5, 2007 and December 7, 2007.

We will have a small Winter celebration for the students, along with a special treat for parents; the kindergarten students will sing several holiday songs.  Please join us on December 21, 2007!

Congratulations to our November Students of the Month!  The assembly honoring these students will be held this Friday, December 7, 2007 at 9:15 a.m.

Al and his friends have visited our classroom!  Al and his friends have talked to the children about feelings and about controlling strong emotions.  Al’s Place was also introduced, which is a tent set up in the room, where the children can go if they are dealing with strong feelings and just need a special place to think.

Picture Day was on Thursday, September 20.  All the children looked great and smiled!  I am happy to report that everyone was able to get their picture taken.

Thank you to everyone who attended Wilmington Manor’s Open House on Tuesday, September 18.  It was so nice to see everyone!  For those parents who could not attend, I sent home a folder with information we went over during Open House.  Please contact me if you have any questions.  Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who came to our K-Reads night!  It was so nice meeting all of you!  Those of you who were unable to make it, I am looking forward to meeting you and your child in a couple weeks!
